What Is Silk PLA?

Silk PLA is a specialty 3D printing filament with a pearlescent, metallic sheen. Unlike standard matte PLA, silk filament refracts light across its surface, creating a smooth, almost liquid-metal appearance. The multi-color silk variants shift between two hues as you move around the piece — no paint, no post-processing, just the material itself.
