Tic Tac UFO – USS Nimitz Encounter – 4"–10"
On November 14, 2004, Navy F/A-18 pilots from the USS Nimitz Carrier Strike Group were vectored toward an object their radar had tracked off the coast of Baja California. What they found hovering above the ocean had no wings, no exhaust, and no markings — a smooth white craft that Commander David Fravor described as looking like a giant Tic Tac.
This is that object, recreated from the on-record descriptions of the military aviators who witnessed it. Every proportion is modeled to the testimony — the seamless capsule, the 3:1 form, the complete absence of features — not the way Hollywood imagined it.
